I had a good day at school today. I had a sub teacher who is probably everyone’s favorite. She is nice and fun and does a lot of activities. The main reason everyone likes her is because she does something called the mystery bag and mystery box. The bag is a black bag with a random item inside. One person is called up and puts their hand in the box. Everyone else asks questions to try and figure it out. The person with their hand in does not see the object. Only feel and sometimes smell.

I will continue to explain the mystery box. It is a black box with one side missing and on two neighboring sides there is armholes to put the hands in. The open side faces the class, and we can see what’s inside. In the box they can only feel but they can ask us questions on what’s inside the box. Today we had a rubber duck and a quarter in one mystery bag. That is very rare to happen. Normally with the bag or the box we do a fun activity like a game or something.

My family doesn’t make any special food for the holidays. I don’t think this counts, but we make orange Tang which is a drink mix that we all really like. It has a good flavor and is best when served cold. The orange sweet hits almost immediately and the flavor slowly dies down from the sharp flavor to just a subtle trace of goodness on your mouth that leaves you craving for more.
